🚌 Passenger information, designed with visitors in mind too

To strengthen the welcome for visitors 🤝 and improve the experience of all passengers, SAMobilité is progressively rolling out a new on-board information system 🚌 The idea is simple: showcase, in a clear and appealing way ✨, everything the network already does to welcome its visitors. Beyond its practical side, it's also a way to make people want to hop on the bus to explore the area 🧭, relying on information that's accessible to everyone 🌍 — including passengers who don't speak French.

📺 How does it actually work?

The system relies on the TFT screens already installed on board the network's buses:
📍 As the bus approaches certain stops, the screen now displays the name and pictogram of the area's main points of interest, in both French AND English
🗺️ This information is integrated directly onto the line's route map — the strip that shows the journey stop by stop — following the same principle used in the metro
✅ Monuments and cultural sites
✅ Iconic panoramas and viewpoints
✅ Must-see spots around the agglopôle

The result: clear, visual information accessible to everyone, turning every bus ride into a chance to discover — or rediscover — the area's treasures.

🔄 A system set to grow

This service is only just getting started: new landmark sites from the Bassin de Thau will gradually be added to the list, for an ever more complete experience 💙
